This project was completed for a client whose mum was finding it increasingly difficult to use the existing bath. The aim was to create a safer, more accessible space while also future-proofing the bathroom for changing mobility needs.
Mr W suffers from a degenerative muscle condition which has begun to affect his mobility and dexterity. He currently enjoys having a bath every day and wanted a solution that would allow him to continue doing so safely, while also preparing for future mobility needs.
This project was completed for a 95-year-old client who was struggling to safely use the existing bath. The goal was to create a more accessible, easy-to-use showering space that would improve safety and day-to-day comfort.
Mr F has an aggressive and degenerative Parkinson’s condition, which has significantly impacted his mobility. Mrs F wanted their existing ensuite completely removed and redesigned into a safe, accessible wet room that would support both current and future needs, including wheelchair use.

When Mr. L’s mother moved in with him, he wanted to make sure their home could support her needs, both now and in the future. Mrs and Mrs W. wanted an accessible wet room within their barn conversion. They were keen to create a space that reflected the style of the rest of the property, yet considered their future bathing needs.
Mrs W. wanted something unique and stylish, that also did not look like a typical accessible bathroom. Planning ahead she wanted herself and other people staying at her property to be able to enjoy their bathing experience in future regardless of their flexibility and mobility.
Mr P needed a bathroom with multigenerational capacity, suiting to his needs following a heart condition diagnosis whilst also adhering to the needs of his family.
Mr and Mrs E were looking for a bathroom design with a contemporary aesthetic that would enable them to keep using a bath into the future whilst retaining some of the features they already had.
Mr H used to be a builder, carrying heavy objects and placing significant impact on many parts of his body, and was now dealing with ongoing arthritis. The development of this condition meant that the couples conventional full-length bath was no longer comfortable to use.
Moving into her son’s house, Mrs S noted that the existing bathroom would require a significant upgrade to make it accessible and comfortable to use.
