Absolute Mobility was privileged to attend the Hunter Community Outreach (HCO) inaugural fundraising lunch on 7th March and be present at such an inspiring event dedicated to raising funds for vital causes in our community.
The event, held at The Hilton Hotel, Reading, brought together people passionate about making a difference and it was incredibly moving to hear from the charities themselves about the impact of their work.
We were also treated to inspirational speeches from @Jeanette Chippington, British Paralympic swimmer and paracanoeist who represented GB at seven Paralympics, and @Aaron Phipps, British wheelchair rugby player and gold medal-winning Paralympian.
Their powerful words, filled with resilience and determination, captivated the room.
The Head of The Avenue School gave a very inspirational speech, and it was so lovely to be in a room surrounded by people with the same end goal of improving lives.
We’re especially proud to have supported these fantastic organisations: Berkshire Banshees Wheelchair Rugby CIC, Berkshire Brigands Mixed Ability Rugby CIC, @Reading Mencap, @Sport Together Berkshire CIC and The Avenue School.
Each one promotes inclusivity and accessibility – values that are at the heart of what we do at Absolute Mobility.
