The challenge
The customer’s wife had been in hospital with a brain tumour which had left her with several impairments, including bad vision, poor balance and loss of muscle usage on the left-hand side of her body. The customer had a small en-suite bathroom that consisted of a bath with a shower over it which was no longer suitable for the customers wife’s bathing needs.
The solution
A free home visit appointment was arranged where our bathroom designer discussed suitable bathing options with the customer and his wife. It was agreed that a level access shower dec would be installed for easier access and bathing, this meant a complete refurbishment of the room.
The outcome
The customer and his wife were very happy with their new accessible bathroom and they are very pleased that his wife is now able to bathe easier and subsequently left a five-star review for Customer Service, Quality and Value on the Which? Trusted Trader platform.
