We are Proud to Support the Berkshire Banshees
Set up in the summer of 2017 Berkshire Banshees Wheelchair rugby club is recognised by Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby as Berkshire’s first Wheelchair Rugby Club. The Banshees was established to provide a team sport for people with physical and learning disabilities who had little or no opportunities to play a contact sport in the Berkshire area. It is a Community Interest Company, which gives the organisation the option to approach third parties for funding.
Absolute Mobility has partnered with the Berkshire Banshees to offer fundraising support, we believe it is a natural extension of the work we already do.
“The Banshees are a fantastic team, they offer three playing formats with one exclusively focused on children and young adults with a physical, intellectual, or learning impairments. Wheelchair rugby gives these individuals the opportunity to exercise, improve coordination and forge important new relationships outside of home and school environments. These younger players have the opportunity to participate in national leagues, but also develop and move up into the adult team when old enough.
I believe that through our partnership with the Berkshire Banshees we can further support those that have developed mobility issues to move forward positively with their lives.
My team and I look forward to continuing our work with the team, good luck this season!”

Supporting a winning team
2023 saw the Berkshire Banshees celebrating their GBWR 5s promotion to the Premier League. This is a fantastic result and testament to the skill of the players and all of the effort they put into training, not to forget the dedicated coaching staff too, who bring everything together week after week.
We are Endorsed by the Which? Trusted Traders Scheme
Sometimes as a consequence of new health conditions, or a development of an existing condition, we see a reduction in our mobility, and things we used to do unconsciously around the home are now more challenging. This is particularly true of bathing. Depending on your mobility needs it may be time to consider making some alterations to your bathroom, shower room of wet room, to make it both easier to use and safer.
Buying a new accessible bathroom, shower room, or wet room is a big decision, and a purchase that you want to get right. It is reassuring to know then that Which? a brand synonymous with consumer advice and protection, has made a list of the best suppliers, and Absolute Mobility is right at the top.
Which? Trusted Traders is the only trade endorsement scheme in the UK that assesses businesses using Trading Standards Quality Assessors. We are held accountable to the Which? Trusted Traders Code of Conduct, that ensures a consistently high standard of work whilst protecting you the consumer.
What does this mean for you?
All applicants to the Which? Trusted Trader scheme undergo a thorough assessment from Trading Standards professionals. Since our first review, assessors have continued to carry out background checks as well as further assessments to ensure Absolute Mobility continues to meet the high standards set by the scheme on a long-term basis rather than just for a moment in time. All aspects of our business have been thoroughly examined including terms and conditions, paperwork, and business practices to ensure that we are doing everything with the customers best interests at heart.
You can never have enough accreditations!
